General Information
Jeevamrutham is the Bible Correspondence Course arranged by the Episcopal Jubilee Institute of Evangelism, Kompady, Thiruvalla. The course in Malayalam was started in February 1998 in connection with the Great Jubilee Celebrations of the birth of Jesus Christ. The course in English commenced in February 1999.
Aim
To have a deep experience of God and blessedness of life resulting from that experience through Bible study.
Content
The course is offered in Malayalam as well as English It consists of three stages, having 10 lessons in each stage. The first stage deals with the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The second stage covers topics in Christian theology. The third stage deals with subjects relating to reflection of your faith in practical life.
Eligibility
The Course is primarily open to members of the Mar Thoma Church, Abu Dhabi.
Duration
It is highly flexible and depends on how much time and effort a student spends for the course. The duration could be 30 weeks, if one week is spent for a lesson, or less/ more depending on one’s involvement and time availability.
Registration Fees
An amount of AED 10 is payable to cover registration fee.
Lessons
Lessons are delivered via Email. However hard copies of the lessons could be delivered by hand on Fridays immediately after Church service at the front Foyer of the Mar Thoma Church at Mussafah.
Question & Answer Papers
Question papers will be given along with each lesson. After careful reading and learning of the given lessons and the related Bible portions, answers should be written in the space provided and the paper submitted to the Coordinator. Additional sheets could be used in case the space provided for answers is not sufficient enough. Answer papers should be sent by Email or be handed over in person. It will be returned valuation, along with the next lesson.
Certificates
Certificates issued by the Episcopal Jubilee Institute, Thiruvalla, will be awarded on completion of each stage.
Register Number
Each student shall have a Register Number. This register number and full address should be written clearly in all your answer sheets and any correspondence.
