A dream comes true for the Abu Dhabi Mar Thoma Youth Forum to support a mission field focusing in the ministry among children. As a result of meticulous planning, enquiries, search and visits, in September 2014, the Youth Forum took over the educational and spiritual needs of 30 children of the Doddabellapura Mission Field. One of the main reasons of taking up the mission field was to enable the youths to learn about mission works by closely being involved in the mission and to discover God’s mission in own lives. The main focus is to involve in the development of children in particular and the community at large,
rather than just supporting the mission financially. The mission field, located near Beerasandra (45 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru), falls under the Chennai-Bangalore diocese.
